What to Expect

KM RUNNING is offering two different distance training options, 5K or Half Marathon. Both options are a 10-week training program. The programs have been designed to gradually increase distance each week to safely and properly get you prepared for race day. The goal is to look at training comprehensive and holistically, to help you reach your full potential. We do this by combining flexibility, core, strength training, and educate you on proper running nutrition, along with the runs.

As a trainer, I hope to not only help program your workouts, but educate and guide you along the way. All of the exercises are provided directly to you through an app that's compatible with iPhone and Android phones!

**Meal plans featured in the video are NOT included.

WHO IS IT FOR?

KM 5K was designed with the beginner in mind. The runs are done in intervals, meaning you're given X amount of minutes to run or jog and X amount of minutes to recover. For example: run for 3 minutes, walk for 3 minutes x 3. As we progress through the training, these intervals will change. Keep in mind that the goal is the distance and it's okay to run/walk even on race day!

KM HALF was designed for someone with a little more experience. Perhaps you already run a few times a week or can already run around ~3 miles. This program does not have walk/run intervals, the runs are purely based on distance. However, that does not mean that you cannot walk/run based on your own ability level. Remember, these programs are about training for the distance, not speed.

The goal is to take the science and make it fun in real life! The hope is that these workouts are easy-to-follow and enjoyable to complete. Although you're doing them alone, I'm right there with you cheering you on (via our group message!).
